Our driver, Paul Byrne, was the perfect choice for us and truly was one of the biggest contributors to our positive experience! He was kind, knowledgeable and, above all, very patient with our group :) We feel so lucky to have met him.
He got us everywhere we needed to go safely and quickly but, what really made the difference for us, was that he went above and beyond to show us lesser known/hidden gems along our journey.
This was my family's first time in Ireland so we had a LOT of questions and he handled them all with impressive knowledge and ease. He was also very flexible with us when it came to our timing throughout the days and it was very much appreciated by our entire group.
We loved all of our excursions and didn't feel like we 'missed' anything we would have really wanted to see.
It was also a seamless experience using our vouchers to get into everything - it was certainly worth it to have all of that booked in advance, especially when traveling with a group!
Overall, I loved my experience working with Butlers and will definitely be recommending them to all of my friends and family go forward!
Our original plan was to rent two cars or a large van for our family vacation in Ireland but after hearing some positive feedback about tour companies, we decided to utilize Butlers Tours instead.
That decision turned what would have been a good vacation into a great one!
Pat, our driver, took great care of us and made us feel like part of his family. For nine days, he safely drove us to the destinations we had requested and suggested many others that made the daily trips much more interesting.
Note - due to driving restrictions, Pat needed one day off and his replacement, Mike, filled in seamlessly.
Pat also gave us recommendations for restaurants and made reservations when needed.
Having our family in one vehicle and not worrying about driving or parking made the entire trip stress free. Sara, who coordinated the logistics, along with Pat were knowledgeable and very personable.
