After your guided tour, it's time to head through the beautiful rolling Irish countryside toward the largely unspoilt and undiscovered seaside town of Youghal. No visit to Youghal is complete without a visit to the Iconic Youghal Clock Gate Tower, you will journey together with their costumed storytellers to each floor of the Tower hearing tales of hero, villain, valiant and much more.
Just accross the road is St Marys medieval Church which is one of the oldest Churches in Ireland still in use today. Then you will free time to explore local shops, the stunning strand or enjoy lunch/drinks at one of the many fine local establishments of Youghal.

Youghal is an ancient town which still has it's walls built to protect the town in 1250 intact. Approximately 12feet high and 4 feet wide these walls surround the Medieval Town of Youghal and are now open to the public.
Youghal where the first potato was introduced to Ireland by Walter Raleigh. It was a strategic trade location through medieval times and you can still see traces of this today.
The Youghal Clock Gate Tower was built in 1777 and a goal(jail) but its story spans 700 years. The tour of this iconic building is a fun, fascinating and entertaining and will be one of the highlights of your trip.
